This introductory creative writing course focuses on fiction. Students explore creative techniques through individual and group writing exercises, examine representative examples of current fiction, and research writing markets. Students write short stories, workshop each other’s work, and revise.

Time: Online courses are delivered via the internet and are accessible to students anywhere – NWCC computer labs may be used to facilitate access. While students do not need to log on at set times, the course work is completed during the regular semester.
