subTerrain

Call for Submissions – Prince George Spotlight Folio
Hello UNBC/Prince George! We’re looking for your creative written work – poetry, creative non-fiction, and fiction. The winter issue of subTerrain will feature a Prince George Spotlight Folio featuring five pieces by UNBC/Prince George writers.
Authors of work selected for inclusion in the issue will receive paid publication (in print and online), be invited to take part in a reading event in Prince George. As well, they will receive 5 copies of the issue plus a one-year subscription to subTerrain.
How it works: Send your submissions, hard copy to:

(For hard copy submissions, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if you would like your submission returned. All submissions not accompanied by a SASE will not be returned.)
When to Act: Now! Submissions will be accepted until Sept 30th, 2011. (postmark deadline) Guidelines: Submissions should be:
1. typed, double-spaced on 8 1/2 x 11 paper 2. Fiction: a maximum of 3,000 words (2,000 or so is best for us) 3. Poetry: maximum 50 lines (including stanza breaks) 4. Creative Non-Fiction: a maximum of 4,000 words
